Phil has worked with individuals with autism and their families for over 15 years. His journey in the field began soon after graduating Arizona State University in Tempe where he worked as a Behavior Therapist. His desire to pursue a career working with individuals with autism led him to San Francisco where he earned his master’s degree in Developmental Psychology. Phil then received his BCBA credential after completing his course work from the Florida Institute of Technology. He has worked in the field as a Behavioral Therapist, Supervisor, Special Education Teacher, and a Clinical Director. His experiences in ABA have allowed him to understand the impact of building independence in all areas of life for those with autism. Phil loves spending quality time with his wife and daughter, playing and watching sports, and frequenting the beach.

Cory Borman has been on a personal mission since childhood to connect more meaningful relationships. As the Digital Products Director at Communication Lab, he is responsible for the ideation and management oversight of all digital tools. Previously he ran product for mynurse.ai, where he designed and oversaw the development of vitals tracking products for chronically-ill patients. Prior to mynurse.ai, Cory was a founding team member of a consumer company, Anova Culinary which was acquired by Electrolux AB for $250M in 2017. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, playing sports, and traveling.

Sarah has been working in technology and marketing for over 15 years, with a focus on providing accessible quality services that make a difference. Previous achievements include running Marketing Systems at LegalZoom, where she helped to develop technology and experiences that made legal services easier to understand and more affordable. As Technology Director at Communication Lab she is committed to creating applications that support therapists, caregivers, and individuals with autism, enabling a focus on care and independence. Throughout her career, she has assisted in the growth of several businesses, as well as the coaching and mentoring of many teams and individuals. In her free time, Sarah loves spending time with friends and family, reading, learning new skills, and exploring nature.
